How to apply for Level Test of Korean Immigration and Integration Program, KIIP level test schedule 2019

2019 KIIP level test schedule 

A. For a new person who has not had soci-net account and registered for KIIP program yet. 

I. How to sign up account:

You should use Internet explorer
– STEP 1. Visit www.socinet.go.kr, and click 회원가입 as the picture below

– STEP 2. Click on the flag if you want to read the information in English
– STEP 3. Tick in 3 I agree boxes 
– STEP 4. Click Join
– STEP 5.Choose English if you want to read the registration form in English

– STEP 6. Fill the form

Note:
1. In the ID section, after enter your ID, you must click on ‘Confirm duplication’. 
+ If your ID is available to use, a message like this will appear “SayHiKorean”이 아이디는 사용 가능합니다 => Click the 이 아이디를 사용합니다 button to finish selecting ID
+ Otherwise, if the message ‘이 아이디는 이미 사용되고 있습니다’ appear, you have to change another ID. 
2. Password must be at least 9 characters,  included alphabet, number and special character (#$%^&*). For ex: sayhikorean7890$$$
3.  After entering your name and Alien registration number => ‘Click to verify your name’
– STEP 7. Click Join and then if you see ‘회원가입되었습니다. 로그인하십시요’, it means that you have just finished signing up your account.



II/ How to participate in KIIP program (to join level test or learn from level 0)

– STEP 1. Click  회원로그인

– STEP 2. Fill your ID and password then click 로그인

– STEP 3. Click 사회통합프로그램 => Click on 단계 배정

+ Click 2 if you want to take the placement test of KIIP
+ Click 1 if you want to learn from level 0 and you do not have to take the level test.


– STEP 4. 

After registering to take the level test at STEP 3 => Click on 동의합니다=> 신청




– STEP 5:
The system now goes to www.kiiptest.org. Fill in the information as below

1. Enter the password as the socinet site password
2. Retype the password
3. Click 주소 찾기=> The system will appear below. Type the same address in your identification card => Click on the magnifying glass to find => Click the correct address. (If the system does not show any addresses, then try to remove the room number)


4. Re-enter your specific address (including room number …) 

5. Enter your contact phone number (maybe your phone number or your spouse … Phone number for contact) 
6. Enter your mobile number
7. Click on 인증 번호 전송 => There will be a 6-digit code sent to the mobile phone number 
8. Enter the confirmation code
 9. Click on 인증 하기 
10. Enter email address 
11. Click on 인증 번호 전송 => There will be 1 code consisting of letters sent to the email in the form of [xxxyyyzzzhskhs] 
12. Enter the code: xxxyyyzzzhskhs 
13. Click on 인증 하기 
14. Select nationality 
15. Select the type of visa 
16. Press the blue checkmark 
17. Press 확인
– STEP 6: Enter your ID and password

– STEP 7: Select the box that matches your case then press 다음 단계. (To take the placement test you choose the position number 1 사전 평가

– STEP 8: In 평가 선택 (select exam) => Click on the line with the exam you want to register 

– STEP 9: In 신청 평가 정보, click on the word 선택 to select the exam area you want (평가 지역) 
– STEP 10: In section 결제 선택, you choose the payment method to pay the exam fee of 30,000 won. Check the information carefully then press 결제 하기 to make a payment. 
– STEP 11: 접수증 출력 Print receipts. Near the exam date, you log in to see the specific address of the exam
– If you already had a valid TOPIK certificate, you can visit the closest Immigration Office for the level assigned without the level test. Visit here for more details (Section 7)
– The test score will be announced after the test for about a week.
– Now there are many applicants join the KIIP program. So make sure you will check the result and register for a class on time. You can enroll in classes at an assigned level (first-come, first-served basis) during the registration period. You should frequently check classes after getting test result on www.socinet.go.kr => 마이페이지 and quickly register for class when it appeared (you can enroll at 00.00 from the first day of the registration period)

– If you have not registered for any class, your level test score is valid for a maximum 1 year

B. For applicants who already finished participating KIIP Program (people already registered for level 0 but now want to take pre-test, people have to register for the level test again because of some reasons…)

– STEP 1: Visit www.socinet.go.kr, click 회원가입, fill in ID and password
– STEP 2. Click 사회통합프로그램 => Choose 평가신청

The next steps you do are the same as the instructions starting from STEP 3 in SECTION 2 (Instructions for registering a placement test for the KIIP social integration program) above.
