윤석열 대통령이 올해 추석을 맞아 각계 원로, 제복 영웅·유가족, 사회적 배려 계층 및 체코 원전 수주 유공자 등에게 전통주와 화장품 세트를 선물로 전달했다.
President Yoon Suk Yeol has sent gifts of traditional alcoholic beverages and domestic cosmetics for Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving), intended for leading figures in each sector, veterans and their families, socially disadvantaged people and those who contributed to Korea’s successful bid to build a nuclear plant in the Czech Republic.
선물은 전통주 산업을 활성화하고 지역 특산물의 소비를 촉진하기 위해 도라지약주(경남 진주), 유자약주(경남 거제), 사과고추장(충북 보은), 배잼(울산 울주), 양파잼(전남 무안)을 담았다.
The set contains doraji (balloon flower) yakju (traditional liquor made with medicinal herbs) from Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do Province; yuja (East Asian citrus fruit) yakju from Geoje, Gyeongsangnam-do Province; gochujang (spicy red pepper paste) made with apples from Boeun-gun County, Chungcheongbuk-do Province; Korean pear jam from Ulju-gun County of Ulsan; and onion jam from Muan-gun County, Jeollanam-do Province.
특히 이번 선물에는 ‘K-뷰티’의 저력을 보여주는 화장품 세트가 처음 포함됐다. 전국 곳곳의 자연 소재를 활용한 오얏핸드워시, 매화핸드크림(전남 담양), 청귤핸드크림(제주 서귀포), 사과립밤(경북 청송), 앵두립밤(경기 가평), 손수건 등으로 구성됐다.
The set also shows the potential of domestic cosmetics, beauty and makeup. It comprises items made with natural ingredients from nationwide including an oyat (plum blossom) hand soap and maehwa (apricot flower) hand cream from Damyang-gun County, Jeollanam-do Province; hand cream made from cheonggyul (green tangerine) from Seogwipo, Jeju Island; apple lip balm from Cheongsong-gun County, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, aengdu (cherry) lip balm from Gapyeong-gun County, Gyeonggi-do Province, and a handkerchief.
선물 상자도 한국의 얼이 담긴 국가유산을 현대적으로 재해석한 디자인으로 반영해 제작했다. The box designs reflect contemporary interpretations of national heritage conveying the Korean spirit.
윤 대통령은 선물과 함께 “넉넉한 추석 명절입니다. 밝은 보름달과 함께 행복한 명절 보내십시오”라고 적은 메시지 카드로 추석 인사말을 전했다. President Yoon sent with the gifts a card containing the message, “On this bountiful Chuseok, have a happy holiday along with a bright full moon.”
