김치베이컨치즈전 등 이색적인 한식을 한자리에서 즐길 수 있는 야시장이 서울 광화문광장 인근 공원에 들어선다. Unique Hansik (traditional foods) such as jeon (traditional pancake) with kimchi, bacon and cheese will be among the delicious offerings starting next week at a night market next to Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul’s Jongno-gu District.
서울시는 29일 광화문광장 옆 세종로공원 (종로구 세종대로 189)에서 ‘K-푸드 페스티벌 넉넉 (이하 넉넉)’을 개장한다고 23일 밝혔다. The Seoul Metropolitan Government on May 23 announced the opening of the K-Food Festival Knock Knock on May 29 at Sejong-ro Park (189 Sejongdae-ro, Jongno-gu District).
지난해 시민의 큰 사랑을 받았던 ‘한강달빛야시장’을 올해부터 한식 특화 콘셉트의 상설 푸드마켓으로 개편한 것이다. The Hangang Moon Light Market, whose hosting last year was a hit with the public, is now a permanent event from this year under the concept of specialized Hansik.
‘넉넉’은 내년 5월까지 매주 수요일부터 일요일까지 오후 4시에서 저녁 9시까지 운영한다. Through May next year, the festival will run every Wednesday through Sunday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
16대의 푸드트럭이 참여하는 이번 ‘넉넉’ 행사에선 김치베이컨치즈전, 크림치즈 곶감말이, 누릉지 닭강정, 꿀인삼 쉐이크, 오미자 에이드 등 외국인도 쉽게 접할 수 있는 한식과 음료를 맛볼 수 있다. 판매음식은 다회용기로 제공한다.
Sixteen food trucks will sell items appealing to international tastes like jeon with kimchi, bacon and cheese, cream cheese gotgam (dried persimmon) rolls and nurungji dakgangjeong, or deep-fried chicken in sweet and spicy sauce with scorched rice, plus drinks such as omija (schisandra berry) ade. The food and beverages will be served in reusable containers.
푸드트럭과 함께 방문객이 음식을 편하게 즐길 수 있도록 현장에 식음공간, 포토존, 무대 등 다양한 공간을 구성해 운영한다. In addition to the food trucks, eating and drinking spots, photo zones and stages for performances will allow visitors to comfortably enjoy their food.
방문객의 결제 편의를 위해 국내 카드, 국내 간편결제 (삼성페이, 카카오페이, 애플페이, 토스페이 등)뿐 아니라 해외카드 (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Express, JCB), 해외 간편결제 (UnionPay, WeChat Pay, Alipay) 등 다양한 방식의 결제 서비스를 제공한다.
An array of payment methods will also raise visitor convenience. Merchants at the event will accept domestic credit and debit cards as well as digital payment forms Samsung Pay, Kakao Pay, Apple Pay and Toss Pay, as well as foreign cards like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Express and JCB and online payments including UnionPay, WeChat Pay and Alipay.
‘넉넉’ 개장을 기념해 29일 오후 5시부터 저녁 8시까지 세종로공원에서 요들, 바이올린, 마술 서커스, 싱어송라이터 등의 무대를 선보인다. To mark the food event’s opening, yodeling, violin and singer-songwriter performances and a magic circus will be held on May 29 at the park from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

송호재 서울시 노동·공정·상생정책관은 “‘넉넉’은 다양한 한식들을 한데 맛볼 수 있는 K-푸드 페스티벌” 이라며 “접근성이 좋은 광화문 세종로공원에서 상설로 개최되는 만큼 시민이 언제든지 방문해 편히 즐길 수 있는 음식 축제가 되도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
“The K-food Festival allows sampling of various Hansik (traditional foods) in one place,” said Song Ho-jae, director-general of the city government’s Labor and Fairness Policy Bureau. “Now permanently held at the easily accessible Sejong-ro Park of Gwanghwamun Square, we will try to make it a food festival that the public can comfortably visit and enjoy at any time.”
