V+ 어/아/여 줄래요?

와, 이 식당 고급스럽다. 웬일로 이런 데를 데려왔어?
Wow, this restaurant is luxurious. What is the occasion for you to bring me here?
자기야, 나 오늘 꼭 해야 되는 말이 있어.
Honey, I have something I need to tell you.
무슨 말인데 이렇게 분위기를 잡아?
What is it that you have to say, for you to make this kind of mood?
이제는 말할 때가 된 것 같아. 나랑 결혼해 줄래?
I think it’s time for me to say it. Will you marry me?
이렇게 갑자기 프러포즈하는 거야?
Are you really proposing to me this suddenly?
갑자기 그러는 거 아니야. 여기 반지도 준비했어.

V+ 어/아/여 줄래요?
It is used after an action verb. It is used when the speaker asks for help from the speaker or the 3rd person.

‘-아 줄래요? is used if the last ending syllable of action verb stem is ‘ ㅏ,ㅗ’. ‘- 어 줄래요? is used if the last ending syllable of action verb stem in other vowels( ㅓ, ㅜ,ㅡ, ㅣ) -여 (해) 줄래요? Is used if ‘하-’ is used.

죄송하지만 사진 좀 찍어 줄래요?
Excuse me, do you mind taking a picture for us?

추운데 창문 좀 닫아 줄래요?
Since it is cold, do you mind closing the window?

시끄러운데 좀 조용히 해 줄래?
Do you mind being quiet since it is noisy?
