미안, 많이 늦었지? 벌써 결혼식 시작했어?

V+ 으려던/려던 참이다
It is used after an action verb stem. It is used when someone is performing an action, related by accident.

‘- 려던 참이다’ is used for as the vowel of an action verb stem or ending with ‘ ㄹ’ and ‘-으려던 참이다’ is used if it ends with a consonant.

라면을 끓이는군요. 저도 마침 라면을 먹으려던 참이었어요.
You are making ramen. I was about to eat ramen.

저도 백화점에 가려던 참이었는데 같이 가요.
I was also about going to the department store so that let’s go there together.

여보세요? 마침 너한테 전화하려던 참이었어.
Hello, I was about to call you right now.
