V/A+ 을/ㄹ 것 같다

It is used to simply guess about things before confirming the facts. When it is a noun, use ‘N일 것 같다’. ‘-었을/았을/였을 것 같다’ is used to simply guess about things in the past.
이 음식이 맛있을 것 같아요?
Do you think this food will taste good?
저기가 시원할 것 같으니까 저기로 갑시다.
I guess it’s cool over there. So, let’s go there.
그 아이는 부모님 말을 잘 들을 것 같아요.
I guess the child will listen to his/her parents very well.
Conversation:
서연 씨에게 선물을 사 주려고 해요. 무슨 선물이 좋을까요?
I am going to buy Ms. Seoyon a present. What kind of present would be good?
곰 인형은 어때요?
How about a teddy bear?
인형은 싫어할 것 같아요.
I guess she would not like a stuffed animal.
그럼 귀걸이나 목걸이가 좋을 것 같아요.
Then, I think earrings or necklaces would be good.
