중소벤처기업부(이하 중기부)가 국내 창업 생태계의 세계화를 이끌 유망 외국인 창업가 모집에 나선다. The Ministry of SMEs and Startups is recruiting promising foreign entrepreneurs to lead the globalization of the domestic startup ecosystem.
중기부는 18일부터 4월 10일까지 ‘2026년 글로벌 스타트업 창업사업화 지원사업’에 참여할 외국인 창업 기업을 공개 모집한다고 밝혔다.
The ministry on March 17 announced the application period of March 18 to April 10 for the Global Startup Commercialization Support Program.
이번 사업은 우수한 해외 새싹기업(스타트업)의 국내 안착을 지원해 한국 사업 환경의 국제적 경쟁력을 강화하기 위해 마련했다. 참여 기업의 편의를 위해 모집 공고부터 신청·접수, 선정 평가에 이르는 모든 절차를 영어로 진행한다.
The venture seeks to help outstanding foreign startups settle in Korea to boost the global competitiveness of the domestic business environment.
For the convenience of participating companies, the process from recruitment announcement and application submission to selection evaluation will be entirely in English.
최종 선정된 기업에는 사업 모델 현지화, 지식재산권 확보, 마케팅 등에 활용할 수 있는 사업화 자금을 평균 5000만 원에서 최대 8000만 원까지 지원한다.
The winning startups will receive average funding of KRW 50 million and a maximum of KRW 80 million for use in localization of their business models, securing intellectual property rights and marketing.
단순 자금 지원에 그치지 않고 ‘글로벌 스타트업 센터’와 연계한 전문 프로그램도 제공한다. 기업은 투자 유치 및 대·중견기업과의 협업 기회를 얻는다. 사무 공간 제공 등 국내 성장을 돕는 다각적인 혜택 역시 받게 된다.
Going beyond financial support, the program will also provide specialized support in conjunction with the Global Startup Center (GSC).
The startups will get opportunities to attract investment and collaborate with middle to large companies as well as a range of benefits including office space to support their growth in Korea.
