한국 대학생 약 5,000명을 대상으로 조사한 결과, 우리나라 대학생들이 가장 선호하는 직업은 중·고등학교 교사로 나타났습니다. 이외의 선호하는 직업으로는 남학생은 기술 자, 의사 등으로 여학생은 디자이너, 통역사 등으로 나타나 남학생과 여학생의 차이가 눈 에 띄었습니다.
From a survey of approximately 5000 university students, the number one career that students prefer is middle and high school teachers. Other careers that made the list were technicians and doctors for boys and designers and interpreters for girls. The difference between the preferences for guys and girls clearly stands out to the naked eye.
학생들이 교사를 선호하는 이유는 다른 직업에 비해 오랫동안 일을 할 수 있는 덕분에 안정적이라고 생각하기 때문입니다. 이와 같은 결과에 고용정보원의 김지혜 연구원은 직업을 선택할 때 안정적인 것도 중요하지만 평생 동안 할 수 있는 직업을 선택하려면 자신의 적성을 고려해야 한다고 밝혔습니다.
