V/A+ 기는 해도 V/A+ 지는 않다
It is attached to the stem of an action verb or descriptive verb when the speaker admits the contents in the preceding clause but a different situation follows in the following clause.
우리 아이가 시끄럽게 하기는 해도 말썽을 부리지는 않아. 그러니까 걱정하지 마.
My kid may make a lot of noise, but he doesn’t get into trouble. So don’t worry.
