다음달 27일부터 서울시 무제한 대중교통 이용권 ‘기후동행카드’가 첫선을 보인다고 서울시가 19일 밝혔다.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government from Jan. 27 will introduce the mass transit pass Climate Card, which allows extensive use of public transportation in the capital region, the city said on Dec. 19.
대중교통뿐만 아니라 공공자전거 따릉이까지 횟수 제한 없이 이용할 수 있다. 기후와 교통 환경변화에 맞춘 친환경 교통혁신 정기권으로 전국 최초로 출시되는 신규 서비스다.
This card also allows the use of the public rental bicycle system Ttareungyi. This eco-friendly and innovative commuting pass, the first of its kind in the country, is customized for changes stemming from climate change and the transportation environment.
서울 지역 내 지하철 1~9호선, 신림선, 우이신설선, 수인분당선, 경춘선, 경의중앙선, 공항철도 서울~김포공항까지 모든 지하철에서 무제한으로 이용할 수 있다. 다만 신분당선은 요금체계가 다르므로 이용이 제한된다.
Card users can ride all nine of Seoul’s subway lines, the light-rail transit (LRT) Sillim Line, Wooe-Sinseul LRT, Suin-Bundang Line, Gyeongchun Line, Gyeongui-Jungang Line and Airport Express from Seoul Station to Gimpo International Airport. The Shin-Bundang Line was excluded, however, because of a different fare system.
버스는 서울시 면허 시내버스와 마을버스 모두 이용이 가능하다. 경기, 인천 등 기타 시·도 면허 버스와 요금체계가 다른 광역버스, 심야버스는 포함되지 않는다.
Users can ride both city and shuttle buses licensed by the capital but not intra-city or night buses with different fares and licenses based in other cities or regions such as Gyeonggi-do Province or Incheon.
서울시는 옵션요금제 방식으로 따릉이 이용 유무에 맞춰 6만2000원권과 6만5000원권 총 2종으로 나눠 출시한다고 밝혔다.
The two types of Climate Card are KRW 62,000 and KRW 65,000, with the latter including the use of Ttareungyi.
‘기후동행카드’ 시행 5일 전인 다음달 23일부터 모바일카드 다운로드와 실물 카드 판매 서비스를 본격적으로 시작한다. 모바일 카드의 경우 안드로이드 운영체계 스마트폰에서만 사용할 수 있다. iOS 기반 스마트폰은 모바일 교통 카드 기능이 탑재되지 않아 실물 카드를 이용해야 한다.
Five days ahead of the card’s launch, the city on Jan. 23 will launch the download of mobile cards and sales of physical cards. Mobile cards are available only for Android smartphones, thus those with iOS models must use the physical card.
모바일 카드는 ‘모바일티머니’ 앱을 무료로 내려받아 월 이용 요금을 계좌 이체하고 5일 이내 사용일을 지정한 후 사용하면 된다. 실물 카드는 지하철 역사 내 고객안전실에서 현금 3000원으로 구입 가능하며 무인 충전기에서 현금으로 충전한 뒤 5일 이내에 사용일을 지정해서 이용하면 된다.
To use the card, a user downloads the free app Mobile T Money, pays the monthly fee to the assigned bank account, and specifies the date of use within five days. A physical card costs KRW 3,000 in cash at the customer service center of a subway station and adding money to it can also be done with cash only at a ticket machine. A user must also designate the date of use within five days of getting a card.
