V+ 으래요/래요.

조금 전에 봤던 결혼식장 어땠어?
How was the wedding ceremony restaurant that we went to a while ago?
밝고 화려해서 좋더라. 근데 예약하려면 계약금 천만 원을 입금하래.
It was bright and flamboyant. But to make a reservation, you need to deposit 10,000,000 won for the down payment.
너무 비싼데. 난 비용이 많이 드는 결혼식보다는 의미 있는 결혼식을 하면 좋겠어.
It’s too expensive. I’d rather have a meaningful wedding rather than a costly one.
그럼 가까운 사람들만 초대해서 간략하게 할까?
Then should we only invite close people and make it simple?
좋아. 가족들하고 친한 친구들만 초대하자.
Sounds good. Let’s just invite our family and close friends.
그래. 비용도 절약할 수 있어서 좋을 것 같아.
Okay. It will be good because we will also be saving money.

V+ 으래요/래요.
It is used after an action verb and is used when you deliver the commanding message to others.

It is an abbreviation form of ‘-으라고/라고 해요’ ‘-래요’ is used when it is an action verb ending with vowels or ending with ‘ㄹ’, otherwise, ‘-으래요’ is used for ending with the other consonants.

의사 선생님이 담배를 끊으래요.
Doctor asks you to stop smoking.

저 사람들이 시끄러우니까 좀 조용히 하래요.
Those people told me to be quiet because we are noisy.

선생님께서 내일까지 이 숙제를 하래.
The teacher told me that you must finish your homework by tomorrow.
