It is used to suggest or inquire about certain behavior when you want to do that although you are not that certain about it.

For ‘-을까/ㄹ까 하는데 어때요?’, if the stem of the action verb ends with a vowel or ‘ㄹ’, you use -ㄹ까 하는데 어때요?’, if it ends with another consonant you use ‘-을까 하는데 어때요?’.

이번 주말에 영화를 볼까 하는데 어때요?
I feel like going to see a movie this weekend, how’s that?

내일 우리 과모임을 학교 앞 식당에서 할까 하는데 어때?
I feel like going to have our department meeting at a restaurant in front of our school, how’s that?

아직 운전이 익숙하지 않아서 도로 연수를 받을까 하는데 어때요?
I feel like getting driving practice because I’m not used to driving yet, how does that sound?

Conversation:

오늘 저녁에 치킨을 배달시켜 먹을까 하는데 어때?
I’d like to have chicken delivered tonight, how’s that?

좋아. 자주 배달시키는 곳이 있어?
Good. Is there a restaurant that you order often?

아니, 난 그때그때마다 달라.
No, I’m different from time to time.

여기 이 앱(app)에서 오늘 치킨을 주문하면 2000원 할인해 준대.
This app says that if you order chicken today, you will get 2,000 won off.

그건 쿠폰을 다운 받아야 하는 걸 거야. 혹시 다운로드 받았어?
