Goseokjeong Flower Garden (고석정 꽃밭) in Cheorwon, Gangwon-do (강원도 철원) covers an enormous 160,000㎡ area — about 48,000 pyeong — filled with around 1 million autumn flowers.
🌺 From cockscomb, gaura and gomphrena to cosmos, kochia, pink muhly, silver grass, chrysanthemums and buckwheat flowers, each section offers a different color and atmosphere.
🔭 Windmill Observatory (풍차전망대) stands at the center of the garden and is a great starting point for exploring the different flower zones.
The recommended walking route takes about 1.5–2 hours, and the mostly flat paths are suitable for families, strollers and wheelchairs.
