정부가 결혼이민자의 직업역량 개발을 돕기 위해 기초 교육부터 직업훈련, 취업까지 모든 과정을 지원한다. Marriage migrants can get public support from basic education for vocational training to develop their professional skills to employment.
여성가족부(여가부)는 전국 77개 가족센터에서 104개 직업교육훈련 과정을 운영한다고 11일 밝혔다. The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family on April 11 released a plan to run 104 vocational courses at 77 family centers nationwide.
올해 실시하는 교육훈련 과정은 가족센터와 여성새로일하기센터 운영기관 등 직업교육훈련기관이 함께 기획·운영한다. Vocational training institutions like such centers and those for female employment will plan and run the courses to be offered this year.
가족센터는 결혼이민자의 취업 준비 정도와 직무역량을 진단하고 직장문화 이해, 컴퓨터 교육 및 직업 관련 전문 한국어교육 등 직업역량을 높이는 사전교육을 제공한다.
A family center assess the job preparation level and job competency of marriage migrants and provides preliminary training to them like understanding of workplace culture, computer skills and Korean-language education customized for their jobs.
교육 후 이뤄지는 직업교육훈련은 결혼이민자가 이주배경을 활용할 수 있는 이중언어 강사, 사법 및 의료 통·번역사, 무역사무원 등의 일반 과정과 지역의 일자리 수요를 반영한 창업 과정도 운영한다.
Vocational training given after education includes general courses leveraging an immigrant’s background for jobs like bilingual instructors, judicial and medical interpreters, and trade administrative staff, plus entrepreneurship courses that reflect an area’s demand for jobs.
사전교육과 직업교육훈련과정 수료 후에는 구직활동을 도와 지역의 학교, 법원, 기업, 기관 등으로 취업을 연계한다. 취업 후 겪을 수 있는 직장생활의 어려움과 근무여건 등에 관한 개별상담을 제공할 계획이다.
After students complete the preliminary and vocational training courses, the centers assist them in finding jobs at schools, courts, companies and organizations as well as offer individual counseling on issues in work-life balance and working conditions encountered after employment.
모든 과정은 무료다. 훈련 참여를 지원하기 위한 교육활동비도 지급한다. All courses are free and to boost participation, educational activity fees are subsidized.
