국가유산청이 ‘제48차 유네스코 세계유산위원회’ 기간 부산 벡스코 제1전시장에 ‘대한민국관’을 마련하고 다채로운 특별 전시와 행사를 선보인다.
The Korea Heritage Service has set up K-Heritage House ahead of the 48th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee, featuring a range of exhibitions and cultural events at Exhibition Center 1 of the convention center BEXCO in Busan’s Haeundae-gu District.
오는 20일부터 29일까지 운영되는 ‘대한민국관’에는 총 35개 기관이 참여한다. 전시 공간은 45개의 전시·체험 콘텐츠로 채워진다. 대한민국 세계유산 17건과 세계기록유산을 비롯해 국가무형유산 공연과 시연이 이어진다.
From July 20-29 with the participation of 35 organizations, the pavilion will be filled with 45 exhibitions and interactive content. Performing arts and demonstrations of National Intangible Cultural Heritage will feature 17 domestic sites designated World Heritage and Memory of the World.
먼저 정부 부처가 마련한 문화·미식 홍보관이 관람객을 맞이한다. A cultural and culinary promotional zone organized by government ministries will welcome visitors.
해양수산부는 세계유산 ‘한국의 갯벌’과 K-시푸드를, 농림축산식품부는 유네스코 인류무형유산인 ‘한국의 장 담그기 문화’와 K-푸드를 미디어 콘텐츠와 시식 체험으로 생생하게 알린다.
The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries will introduce the World Heritage-listed gaetbol (getbol), or long-stretching tidal flats, and seafood. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs will showcase the domestic culture of making jang (fermented sauce), which is on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, along with Hansik (traditional cuisine) through media content and tasting events.
불교계 유산과 기록문화도 한자리에서 만난다. 세계유산인 ‘산사, 한국의 산지승원’을 비롯해 세계기록유산 ‘팔만대장경’과 이를 봉안한 세계유산 ‘해인사 장경판전’을 사진과 영상 등으로 소개한다.
Korean Buddhist heritage and documentary culture will also be displayed. Exhibits will feature the World Heritage site “Sansa, Buddhist Mountain Monasteries in Korea,” Memory of the World-listed Tripitaka Koreana and World Heritage-listed Janggyeong Panjeon (Tripitaka Koreana Depository) at Haeinsa Temple through photos and video presentations.
한국국학진흥원은 유교 문화와 기록유산을 직접 경험하는 체험형 홍보관을 운영한다.
The Korean Studies Institute will also run an interactive exhibition of the country’s Confucian culture and documentary heritage.
이번 위원회 공식협력기관인 저스피스재단의 홍보관도 주목할 만하다. 재단의 명예이사장이자 위원회 홍보대사인 가수 지드래곤과 함께하는 사회공헌 활동과 세계유산기금 도시 캠페인 ‘헤리티지 인 피스’ 등을 소개하고 방문객에게는 다과를 제공한다.
A promotional booth of the Juspeace Foundation, an official partner of this year’s session, will feature the entity’s social contribution activities featuring K-pop artist G-Dragon, the foundation’s honorary chairman and committee ambassador, as well as “Heritage in Peace,” a city campaign of the World Heritage Fund. Refreshments will also be provided.
대한민국관 내부 주무대인 ‘K-헤리티지 스테이지’에서는 위원회 기간 한국 전통의 소리와 선율이 울려 퍼진다. 열흘 동안 유네스코 인류무형유산인 처용무와 동래학춤 등 총 38건의 공연이 쉼 없이 펼쳐진다.
K-Heritage Stage, the main stage within K-Heritage House, will host 38 continuous performances over 10 days featuring traditional music and dance including the UNESCO-listed Cheoyongmu (Dance of Cheoyong) and Dongnae hakchum (crane dance).
궁궐의 정취를 재현한 ‘수문장 교대의식’과 ‘왕가의 산책’도 관람객의 발길을 사로잡을 예정이다.
Reenactments of the Palace Royal Guard Changing Ceremony and royal procession will recreate the atmosphere of a royal palace.
