한국 드론산업의 현재와 미래를 보여주는 ‘2024 드론쇼코리아(Drone Show Korea 2024)’가 6일 부산 벡스코에서 개막했다. The annual Drone Show Korea opening on March 6 at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO) displays the present and future of the drone industry.
올해로 8회째를 맞는 행사는 ‘드론에 대한 모든 것, 무한한 확장으로 세상을 이롭게 하다’를 주제로 역대 최대 규모인 10개국 228개 업체가 참가해 6일~8일 3일 동안 다양한 무인기를 선보인다.
Under the theme “All About Drones: Caring for the World through Boundless Expansion,” this year’s event, the biggest in its history and the eighth edition, runs from March 6-8. A combined 228 companies from 10 countries participating in the event are showing their unmanned air vehicles (UAV).
이번 행사는 드론산업의 확장성과 효용성에 주목해 드론으로 구현될 산업간 융복합 사례를 소개하고 최신 기술이 우리 일상에 적용될 다양한 가치를 제시했다.
The event’s focus is the expandability and utility of the sector by introducing cases of inter-sectoral convergence achieved through drones and values that cutting-edge technology will apply to daily life.
먼저 국방부는 국방혁신 4.0의 핵심인 ‘인공지능(AI) 기반 유무인 복합전투체계’를 보여줬다. The Ministry of National Defense first held a demonstration of an artificial intelligence (AI)-based manned and unmanned system of complex combat, the core of the ministry’s strategy Defense Innovation 4.0.
육군은 ‘Army TIGER 전력’과 ‘드론봇’ 장비를, 해군은 미래 해양전을 대비한 ‘AI 기반 해양 유무인 복합전투체계’, 공군은 공중 무인체계의 비전과 능력을 각각 선보였다.
The Republic of Korea Army showed its advanced AI-based drone weapons system Army Tiger 4.0 and drone bots, the Navy its AI-based maritime manned and unmanned combined combat systems for future warfare, and the Air Force its vision and capacity for aerial unmanned systems.
국내 기업들 또한 다양한 신기술들을 보여줬다. Domestic companies also unveiled an array of new technologies.
대한항공은 양산에 착수한 중고도무인기를 필두로 유무인복합체계, 신개념 미래형 무인기, AI 기반 군집 드론을 발표했다.
Starting with a mid-altitude unmanned aircraft whose mass production has started, Korean Air announced its development of a manned and unmanned complex system, new concept futuristic UAV and AI-based swarm drone.
‘숨비’는 에어택시 PAV 2세대 기체와 민·군 수송 및 공격용 유상하중 100kg급 ‘CAV(Cargo Air Vehicle)’를 국내 최초로 공개했다.
Domestic industrial and military drone developer Soomvi released in a first for the country the second generation of its personal air vehicle (air taxi) and a 100-kg payload cargo air vehicle for civilian and military transportation and attack purposes.
파블로 항공은 자율군집 제어와 첨단 관제 기술 및 4개 사업 분야, 8종의 드론 기체를 선보이며 드론 통합서비스의 혁신성을 강조했다.
The software-based drone company Pablo Air stressed the innovation of drone-integrated services through autonomous swarm control, advanced control technology and eight types of drone aircraft in four business sectors.

부산시 관계자는 “드론쇼코리아는 드론을 중심으로 관련 산업군을 포괄하고 연결하는 드론산업의 플랫폼 역할을 충실히 수행하면서 민·관·군·산·학·연이 상호 협력해 성장하는 산업 생태계가 조성되는데 크게 기여해왔다” 며 “매년 국내외 많은 관련 전문가들이 모이는 세계적인 행사로 자리매김한 만큼 최고의 사업 성과를 거둘 수 있도록 안전하고 내실 있게 운영하겠다”고 밝혔다.
A Busan Metropolitan City official said, “Drone Show Korea has faithfully played a role as a platform for the drone sector in covering and connecting related industries centered on drones, as well as greatly contributing to creating an industrial ecosystem in which public, private, military, industrial, academic and research institutions cooperate and grow.”
“Because the show is now a global gathering of numerous domestic and international experts, we will ensure a safe and efficient event to facilitate maximum business success.”
