한국 정부를 향한 국민의 신뢰가 세계 최고 수준인 것으로 나타났다. The country’s public trust in the central government is among the highest in the world.
경제협력개발기구(OECD)가 실시한 ‘2026 OECD 공공부문 신뢰도 조사(OECD Survey on Drivers of Trust in Public Institutions)’ 에서 한국은 조사 대상 38개국 중 6위를 차지했다고 행정안전부가 30일 밝혔다. 이는 역대 가장 높은 순위로 직전 조사와 비교해 9계단이나 뛰어오른 결과다.
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety on June 30 said Korea placed sixth among 38 countries in this year’s Survey on Drivers of Trust in Public Institutions by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). This is the nation’s highest ranking in history and represents a jump of nine spots from the previous rankings.
한국의 중앙정부 신뢰도(51.03%)는 OECD 회원국 평균(40.13%)를 웃돌았다. 직전 조사와 비교하면 약 14%포인트 상승했다.
Public trust in the central government in Korea (51.03%) was significantly higher than the OECD average (40.13%), jumping about 14 percentage points from the last survey.
행정 서비스 만족도(79%)와 의료 시스템 만족도(74%)는 나란히 5위를 기록했다. 인공지능(AI)을 활용한 개인 맞춤형 서비스 제공 가능성(59%)은 2위에 올랐다.
Satisfaction with administrative services (79%) and healthcare system (74%) each came in fifth. Public confidence in the government providing personalized services using artificial intelligence was second (59%).
반면 개인정보가 정당한 목적으로만 사용될 가능성(47%)과 교육 시스템 만족도(51%)는 각각 23위에 그쳤다.
Korea placed 23rd in confidence in the legitimate use of personal data (47%) and satisfaction with its education system (51%).
윤호중 행정안전부 장관은 “앞으로도 국민 참여와 소통 중심의 정부 혁신을 지속하겠다”고 말했다.
Minister of the Interior and Safety Yun Ho Jung said, “We will continue government innovation based on public participation and communication.”
