세계 랭킹 1위 안세영이 인도네시아오픈 여자 단식 정상에 오르며 대회 2연패를 달성했다. 지난주 싱가포르오픈에 이어 2주 연속 국제 대회 우승이다.
An Se Young, the world’s top female badminton player, on June 7 secured her second straight women’s singles title at the Indonesia Open.
This marked her second championship in two weeks after her victory at the Singapore Open on May 31.
안세영이 7일(현지 시간) 인도네시아 자카르타에서 열린 세계배드민턴연맹(BWF) 월드투어 수퍼 1000 인도네시아오픈 여자 단식 결승에서 일본의 야마구치 아카네를 2-0(23-21, 21-12)으로 완파했다.
The superstar on June 7 defeated Akane Yamaguchi of Japan in straight sets (23-21, 21-12) at the Indonesia Open final in Jakarta.
안세영은 세계 랭킹 3위 야마구치를 상대로 경기 막판 5연속 득점을 몰아치며 39분 만에 경기를 마무리했다.
An won the title in just 39 minutes after scoring five consecutive points at the end of the second set against world No. 3 Yamaguchi.
이번 우승은 2021년과 2025년에 이은 개인 통산 세 번째 인도네시아오픈 우승이다.
This was her third career Indonesia Open win following those in 2021 and last year.
이로써 올 시즌 말레이시아오픈, 인도오픈, 아시아선수권, 싱가포르오픈에 이어 인도네시아오픈까지 석권하며 시즌 5관왕을 기록했다.
An now has five titles this season thanks to earlier victories at the Malaysia Open, India Open and Asian Championships.
